For nasal use only. Ask a doctor before use if you have ear, nose or throat sensitivity or if you are susceptible to nose bleeds. When using this product avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact with eyes, flush with water and immediately seek professional help. Temporary discomfort such as burning, stinging, sneezing, or increased nasal discharge may result from use of this product. To help avoid irritation, do not sniff up gel. The use of this container by more than one person may spread infection. Stop use of this product and ask a doctor if symptoms persist. ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy was formulated to shorten the duration of the common cold and may not be effective for flu or allergies. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy Oral Mist only:

When using this product avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact with eyes, flush with water and immediately seek professional help.

Directions:    ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy nasal pump:

• Adults and children 3 years of age and older (with adult supervision):
  
  • Remove cap and safety cap.
  • Hold with thumb at bottom of bottle and nozzle between your fingers.
  • Before using the first time, prime pump by depressing several times.
  • Place tip of nozzle just past nasal opening (approximately 1/8").
  • While inside nasal opening, slightly angle nozzle outward.
  • Pump once into each nostril. To avoid possible irritation, do not sniff up gel.
  • After application, press lightly on outside of each nostril for about 5 seconds.
  • Wait at least 30 seconds before blowing nose.
  • Use once every 4 hours.
  • For best results, use at the first sign of a cold and continue to use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms subside.
• Children under 3 years of age: Consult a doctor before use.

ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy Swabs only:

• Adults and children 3 years of age and older (with adult supervision):
  
  • Separate one swab from the other.
  • Before opening:
    
    • Turn swab upside down to medication saturates swab head.
    • Return right side up and squeeze at blue dot to move medication away from dotted tear line.
  • To open:
    
    • Fold so arrow heads meet; then tear scross dotted line.
    • Slide plastic sleeve halfway down swab handle to expose swab tip.
  • Apply medication just inside of each nostril. During application, press lightly on outside of nostril for about 5 seconds. Do not insert swab more than ¼ " past nasal opening.
  • Discard swab after use.
  • Wait at least 30 seconds before blowing nose.
  • Use one swab every 4 hours.
  • For best results, use at the first sign of a cold and continue to use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms subside.
• Children under 3 years of age: Consult a doctor before use.

ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy Swabs Kids Size only:

• Adults and children 3 years of age and older (with adult supervision):
  
  • Separate one swab from the other.
  • Before opening:
    
    • Turn swab upside down so medication saturates swab head.
    • Return right side up and squeeze at yellow dot to move medication away from dotted tear line.
  • To open:
    
    • Fold so arrow heads meet; then tear across dotted line.
    • Slide plastic sleeve halfway down swab handle to expose swab tip.
  • Apply medication just inside of first nostril. During application, press lightly on outside of nostril for about 5 seconds. Do not insert swab more than ¼ " past nasal opening.
  • Re-moisten swab by pulling plastic sleeve back around swab tip. Then pull sleeve down and apply to second nostril.
  • Discard swab after use.
  • Wait at least 30 seconds before blowing nose.
  • Use one tube every 4 hours.
  • For best results, use at the first sign of a cold and continue to use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms subside.
• Children under 3 years of age: Consult a doctor before use.

ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy Oral Mist only:

• Adults and children 3 years of age and older:
  
  • Spray four times in mouth at the onset of symptoms. Spray on inside of cheeks, roof of mouth and gums. Retain 15 seconds. Swallow.
  • Repeat every three hours until symptoms are gone.
  • For best results, use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms subside.
  • To avoid minor stomach upset, do not take on an empty stomach.
  • Do not eat or drink for 15 minutes after use. Do not eat or drink citrus fruits or juices for 30 minutes before or after. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids.
• Children under 3 years of age: Consult a doctor before use.

ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy RapidMelts only:

• Adults and children 3 years of age and older:
  
  • Dissolve entire tablet in mouth. Do not chew. Do not swallow whole.
  • Take one tablet at the onset of symptoms.
  • Repeat every three hours until symptoms are gone.
  • For best results, use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms subside.
  • To avoid minor stomach upset, do not take on an empty stomach.
  • Do not eat or drink for 15 minutes after use. Do not eat or drink citrus fruits or juices for 30 minutes before or after. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids.
• Children under 3 years of age: Consult a doctor before use.

ZICAM ^® Cold Remedy Chewables only:

• Adults and children 6 years of age and older:
  
  • Take one square at the onset of symptoms. Chew thoroughly before swallowing.
  • Repeat every three hours until symptoms are gone.
  • For best results, use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms subside.
  • To avoid minor stomach upset, do not take on an empty stomach.
  • Do not eat or drink for 15 minutes after use. Do not eat or drink citrus fruits or juices for 30 minutes before or after. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids.
• This product is not recommended for children under 6 years of age due to the hazard of choking.
