CONSUMER INFORMATION:    Vicks Cough Drops provide fast and effective relief. Each drop contains effective medicine to suppress your impulse to cough as it dissolves into a soothing syrup to relieve your sore throat.

USES

Temporarily relieves:

• sore throat
• coughs due to colds or inhaled irritants

WARNINGS

Ask a doctor before use if you have:

• cough associated with excessive phlegm (mucus)
• persistent or chronic cough such as those caused by asthma, emphysema, or smoking
• a severe sore throat accompanied by difficulty in breathing or that lasts more than 2 days
• a sore throat accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, swelling, nausea or vomiting

Stop use and ask a doctor if:

• you need to use more than 7 days
• cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or occurs with fever, rash, or headache that lasts. These could be the signs of a serious condition.

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children.

DIRECTIONS

· under 5 yrs.: ask a doctor

· adults & children 5 yrs & older: allow 2 drops to dissolve slowly in mouth

(cherry)

· adults & children 5 yrs & older: allow 3 drops to dissolve slowly in mouth

Cough: may be repeated every hour.

Sore Throat: may be repeated every 2 hours.

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Menthol: Ascorbic acid, caramel, corn syrup, eucalyptus oil, sucrose.

Cherry: Ascorbic acid, citric acid, corn syrup, eucalyptus oil, FD&C blue 1, flavor, FD&C red 40, sucrose.

HOW SUPPLIED

Vicks® Cough Drops are available in boxes of 20 triangular drops. Each red or green drop is debossed with "V."
