Drug Facts
Active Ingredient
(in each strip): Purpose:
Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg Cough suppressant/Antihistamine
Uses: · temporarily relieves
- runny nose · sneezing
- itchy nose or throat
- itchy, watery eyes due to hay fever
- cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation occurring with a cold
Warnings:
- do not use more than directed

marked drowsiness may occur.
Sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. - excitability may occur, especially in children
Stop use and ask a doctor if
- cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
Do not use · with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin
Ask a doctor before use if the child has
- glaucoma
- cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus)
- cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with asthma or chronic bronchitis
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child is
- taking sedatives or tranquilizers
When using this product
Directions:

children 6 to under 12 years of age: allow 1 strip to dissolve on tongue.
May be taken every 4 hours. - do not exceed 6 strips in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor
- children under 6 years of age: ask a doctor

- store at controlled room temperature 20-25°C (68-77°F)
