Refresh Plus Lubricant Eye Drops (Allergan)

Many things can make your eyes feel dry, scratchy, burning, or uncomfortable: Air conditioners, heaters, computer use, reading, some medications, wind, LASIK procedures, * or a reduction in the amount of tears your body produces, which help to lubricate and nourish your eyes. REFRESH PLUS® Lubricant Eye Drops restore the moisture your eyes crave, with a special formula that has some of the same healthy qualities as natural tears.
Since REFRESH PLUS® is preservative-free, it also avoids the potential irritation to your eyes caused by some preservatives found in bottled eye drops. REFRESH PLUS® is formulated for the mild-to-moderate dry eye, and can be used as often as needed, to provide 24-hour comfort.
Drug Facts
Active Ingredient: Purpose: Carboxymethylcellulose ............. Eye lubricant sodium (CMC) 0.5% Uses:
- For the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort, due to dryness of the eye, or exposure to wind or sun
- May be used as a protectant against further irritation.
Warnings:
- For external use only.
- To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Do not reuse. Once opened, discard.
- Do not touch unit-dose tip to eye.
- Do not use, if solution changes color or becomes cloudy .
Stop use and ask a doctor if you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours.
Keep out of the reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help, or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
*If used for post-operative (e.g. LASIK) dryness and discomfort, follow your eye doctor's instructions.
Other Information:
- Use only if single-use container is intact.
- RETAIN CARTON FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Inactive Ingredients: Calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, purified water, sodium chloride, and sodium lactate. May also contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide to adjust pH.
How Supplied : In sterile, preservative-free, disposable, single-use containers of 0.01 fluid ounces each in the following sizes:
30 single-use containers--NDC 0023-0403-30.
50 single-use containers--NDC 0023-0403-50.
70 single-use containers--NDC 0023-0403-70.
100 single-use containers--NDC 0023-0403-10.
